Rustic Wedding Ideas..

Now that little Sadie has arrived and we're adjusting to the new pleasures and pressures of parenthood, it's about time to really plan our wedding.  We're getting married in a beautiful barn that serves as an event center. There's a fireplace, a large stage, twinkle lights along the upper level and candles on the beams.

In order to keep with the rustic feel that we love about the venue, I've been scouring the Internet for images that represents simplicity, class and rustic charm. I found a lot of these images on Pintrest and hope you enjoy them as well.

I really enjoy the use of canning jars, crisp white linens and burlap runners.

I think this is a gorgeous center piece. If our budget allowed, I would consider using a wine bottle with our photo and use that to label the tables. A treat for all of our guests, and a cute way to direct people to where they will be sitting.

I wish these flowers were going to be in season for our wedding. I really want twigs with flowers to be placed on the mantle of the fireplace and near the bar.

I love the mix and matched jars with ribbon detail.

I think I'm going to steal this idea. I love buntings. This one looks like it was made with scrap booking paper and twine.

I love this use of tulle. I'm considering doing something like this for the stage area. I also love the use of chalkboards to explain desserts.

And fresh rosemary lining the chairs.

Sprigs of lavender on tiny clothes pins to let people know what table they are assigned to.

Now I just need to ensure the dresses for myself and the bridesmaids fit this style of wedding and I need to settle on an idea so that we can begin collecting and creating what we need.
