Apple Picking
Dave and I took Sadie apple picking last weekend. Sure she's still a munchkin and won't remember the experience, but apple picking is something we enjoy doing and it was fun to share that with her. Being the complete dorks that we are, I dressed her up in a fleece pumpkin pj set with her little pumpkin hat. The get up only had her called a boy several times. It's amazing to me how people ascribe any color other than pink and purple to mean boy. The world has many colors, babies should wear them all!
Things are going well on the home front. I'm trying to figure out exactly what foods in my diet make Sadie happy and cranky, which is more difficult than it sounds. So far I believe I'm not allowed to eat chocolate or any sugary snack. And I'm thinking those yummy fiber one bars are also out of the mix. Ah well.
Lately I've been working on creating a list of baby items that I deem to be essential, or helpful. I'm also making a list of items that I feel are essential / helpful for breast feeding moms. When Sadie graces me with a long stretch of sleep and I'm caught up on laundry and house work I hope to make a post on this. Here's hoping I get to that this year.
& here's hoping i loose the additional 20lbs I need to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight.
